Hank Thomas...

Vocals, Guitars, Steel, Cheap Domestic Beer

When he started up the Cathouse Drifters with J.P., Hank hung up his trusty Gibson J-45 and never looked back.

Tired of being at the mercy of Milwaukee's small, almost non-existent pool of country pickers, this former lead vocalist of the Western Starlanders decided to take matters in his own hands and take on lead guitar and steel in addition to his role as a lead singer. This has been no small task, but the hard work is starting to pay off as he continues to grow as a musician.

A strong advocate of preventive dental care, he is currently writing a book on the history of dental floss.

Blaine McQuinn...

Fiddle, Vocals

Our band's savior, this multi-talented young man hails from Walworth, WI.

A music major at UW-Whitewater, Blaine has taken the Cathouse Drifters' sound to the next level with his blazing raw talent on the fiddle. His youthful enthusiasm and high energy are also a welcomed addition as witnessed in the band's live performances.

A self proclaimed music lover and multi-instrumentalist, Blaine also enjoys playing the bagpipes, guitar, mandolin, and saxophone.

Mr. Ed...

 Rhythm Guitar

Like a Phoenix rising from the ashes of Craigslist, the Cathouse Drifters' rhythm section is now propelled by Mr. Ed and his guitar.

With influences from guitar heroes Eldon Shamblin and Freddie Green, he keeps the band rolling like a tumbleweed roaming free on the dusty Texas plains with his solid and swinging style.

When he's not fishing or playing cards, he likes to listen to Hank Williams, Bill Monroe, Doc Watson and Charo.

J.P. Cyr...

Vocals, Upright Bass, Ronco Dial-O-Matic Food Slicer

With an unwavering passion for traditional country music and years of stage and studio experience on the upright bass, J.P. is the foundation of The Cathouse Drifters.

An accomplished bass player and the band's chief songwriter, J.P. is singing lead on more songs than ever. The addition of his harmony vocals has also been a big plus from this former member of the Western Starlanders.

Citing Nipsey Russell as a major influence, he would like to fulfill his dream of being a game show host and have his own line of salad dressing.
